Several education bills supported by SAA passed during yesterday’s State Senate floor action including:
SB-160 School Board Meeting Notice (Olsen, Luther) The method for providing notice of a special meeting of a school board. Passed, (Voice Vote). Messaged.
AB-053 Pupil Records (Born, Mark) Pupil records. Passed, (Voice Vote). Messaged.
AB-054 School Drills (Born, Mark) Fire, tornado, and school safety drills for public and private schools. Passed, (Voice Vote). Messaged.
AB-195 Reciprocity Licenses (Tranel, Travis) A license to teach based on reciprocity and granting rule-making authority. Passed, (Voice Vote). Messaged.
