Rural Schools Task Force To Hold 2nd Hearing

The Speaker’s Task Force on Rural Schools will hold it’s second of four planned public hearings this Wednesday, November 6th at 1:30 p.m. in the Intermediate School Commons of Royall Middle School in Elroy.
The Task Force will hear invited testimony regarding high transportation costs and school district challenges from the following area school superintendents: Mark Gruen, Royall School District; Christine Weymouth, Mauston School District; Curt Bisarek, Hillsboro School District; and John Eyerly, Westfield School District.
Also invited to speak are Cheri Newlun from Seats Inc., Andy Wohlrab from Sprinkman Corporation, and local parent Carrie Buss.
