According to Molly Beck in an article last Friday in the Wisconsin State Journal, the amount of state money spent on each student using a private school voucher has increased by about 14 percent since 2010, according to a recent state memo.
At the same time, the amount of money the state spends on each public school student has decreased by about 4 percent, according to a memo released this week by the nonpartisan Legislative Fiscal Bureau at the request of Sen. Janet Bewley, D-Ashland.
