Rep. Quinn Will Not Seek Reelection

State Rep. Romaine Quinn has announced he will not seek reelection this fall.
In an interview with DrydenWire.com, the Barron Republican said his decision came after he was approached to take a job locally, a prospect he found attractive as he and his wife try to start a family.
“I want to know I’ll be home when I’m needed the most and I can’t guarantee that when I’m in Madison,” he said.
Quinn, 29, didn’t immediately return messages WisPolitics.com left on his cell phone and with his Capitol office.
The northern Wisconsin seat is solidly Republican with President Trump winning 58.4 percent of the vote there in 2016.
