Governor Signs Sudden Cardiac Arrest Information Bill
By Wisconsin School Administrators Alliance staff | March 30, 2022
Governor Evers has signed Assembly Bill 82, relating to providing information about sudden cardiac arrest during youth athletic activities, into law as 2021 Wisconsin Act 210. The SAA remained neutral on the bill after adoption of Assembly Amendment 4 which among other things directed the required information about sudden cardiac arrest be included with required information about concussions, thereby largely removing concerns about administrative burden. For more information about the bill and the amendment, see the Legislative Council Amendment Memo.
