Superintendents Speak Out Against Referendum Bill

By Wisconsin School Administrators Alliance staff | November 2, 2015

On Friday night,  Superintendent John Gaier (Niellsville) appeared on Wisconsin Public Television’s Here and Now show to express his concerns about a bill that would limit local voters abilities to support needed facility upgrades and educational opportunities for children through school referenda.  The bill has recently been introduced as Senate Bill 355.

In a Milwaukee Journal Sentinel article published this weekend, Superintendents Pat Greco (Menomonee Falls), Larry Smalley (Glendale-River Hills) and Duane Bark (Markesan) laid out their concerns against the bill as well.

Hats off to these superintendents for a great job in representing their districts, their colleagues, and , most importantly, the children they serve.
